Curaçao is the main Island of the Dutch Caribbean which is part of the Dutch Kingdom.

Curaçao is located in the southwestern Caribbean, at 'altitude 12' north and longitude 68' west. The island is just 70 km (44 miles) north of Venezuela. It is 2,5 hours by air from Miami and 9.5 Hours from Amsterdam.

Curaçao has a warm, sunny climate year round. The average temperature is about 27°C (in the mid 80s). From October to February, the weather  marked by continued sunny weather by day and short, occasional showers, mostly at night. It is outside the hurricane belt; only three hurricanes have come near the island in the last century.

Curaçao is 444 square kilometers (182 square miles); 61 km long: 5-14 km wide and has 150,000 inhabitants; 40 to 50 different nationalities live on the island.

Curaçao is on Atlantic Standard Time: one hour later than US Standard Time (the same time as Daylight Savings Time) and four hours earlier than Greenwich Mean Time.

 

 

 

 

Willemstad is the Capital of Curaçao as well as the Netherlands Antilles and  is characterized by its colorful Amsterdam Canalhouses in a tropical environment.

The city is picturesque and has many good restaurants and most of the nightlife is near Willemstad.

Most western village in Curaçao where the Marazul apartment is located. It is one the most beautiful unspoiled bays and dive-sites of the region at only 35 car minutes from the airport.
